Beim Oswald is the quieter of our two villages in St. Oswald. Families stay in Mallnock or Wiesernock: 55 m², two bedrooms with doors, a living room with tiled stove and a kitchen where the kids' dinner is quickly made.
Cars stay at the edge of the village. The paths lead from your front door into the forest, to the stream and up to the alpine pastures. We can put a cot in your apartment on request for €15 per day.

Outdoors
The water trail along the Oswaldbach starts at the village, and the Brunnachbahn gondola takes even short legs high up. When it rains, the local bus takes you to the thermal spas in Bad Kleinkirchheim.About five minutes on foot to the Brunnachbahn. Right by the Sonnleitenlift in St. Oswald is the Nox & Nixi children's slope, and the Wulschnig and Schabus ski schools are in the village too.

Beim Oswald has no playground and no swimming pond. You will find both in the mountain village of Kirchleitn, 200 metres further down: kids' areas, a natural swimming pond and, in summer, the Kärnten Card. If you're coming with toddlers and need that every day, you're better off there. If you want peace and hike with older kids, stay up here.
Questions
For families looking for peace and quiet, yes. There is no entertainment programme, childcare or playground here. The neighbouring village Kirchleitn has kids' areas and a swimming pond.

Mallnock or Wiesernock with two bedrooms. With one small child, Pfannock or Steinnock also works.
The St. Kathrein and Römerbad thermal spas in Bad Kleinkirchheim are about ten minutes away by car.
Yes, meals are not included. Every apartment has a kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge with freezer compartment and coffee machine. Fresh bread, cheese and eggs are at the Greisslerei, the little village shop right opposite at the entrance to Kirchleitn, open daily 8 am to 10 pm.
Yes, up to two dogs per apartment, €20 per dog per day; bring your own food. A dog blanket and a treat from Wurzerhof are already waiting. Dogs stay on the lead in the village.
